Once there it was wintertime and the rad core split, and filled the floor with water, so it was capped off and all winter drove with a scraper to the clean the inside of the windshield. The floorboards were also rusted out and replaced with a piece of wood.

While on leave, after training, in about 1968, I drove my Honda CB160 motorcycle from California to Alabama. I later had the engine bored out to 175cc, but the shop left the original valve spacers in, as well as the new ones, so it chewed up the cam. I kept the engine disassembled in my locker until I lost the small claims lawsuit. At that time I also had a full size stereo cabinet, that I had built, chained up in my communal barracks as well as a CB antenna on the roof with the cable coming in through the window and into the locker. This was all possible as we considered ourselves to be non military and worked a five day a week reporting to Warrant officers.

Prior to being discharged I bought a brand new Honda CB450 motorcycle. It weighed 440 LB, had 44 HP, and cost $450. In addition, older versions of TMG automatically created a GENDEX file (alexandn.txt) for submission to the WWW Genealogical Index, which no longer exists as a service.

The reports are shown in two formats. The first is from 8 "Prime" people in the family. They were relevant in their own way, and the software can only handle eight, but that means a lot are left out (there are about 603 names). The second is from all the "Root" people which means they do not have known parents, and so are at the end of lines. This is everyone that I know of and is about 2000 names.
